How to Install
The post location or spacing is to be determined by the area to be supported by the post for the local soil capacity. The 10" and the 16" FootingPad™ supports 4" x 4", 4" x 6" or 6" x 6" deck posts.
- Dig the hole a little larger than the pad in diameter
and deep enough to be below the local frost line.
Clean out loose soil and level the bottom
of the hole.
- Place the FootingPad into the hole smooth
side down.
- Use the post to tamp the FootingPad into place.
- Position the post on the pad in the desired
location.
- Replace the dirt around the footing pad and compact
